Almost a year after TV series Prison Break's final season, its popularity and influence is continuing to be felt in China.

Rumor has it that Hong Kong director Stanley Tong's latest film will costar actor Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield in Prison Break) alongside Donnie Yen and it was announced Monday that Peter Stormare, who played villain John Abruzzi in the series, will join the cast of local director Dayyan Engs' comedy Inseparable.

According to Engs, Stormare will play a greedy foreign investor selling poor-quality maternity and children's products to China. He is lined up to shoot his scenes in the latter half of the month in Guangzhou, together with Kevin Spacey, Daniel Wu and Yan Ni.

The 57-year-old Swedish actor has formerly cooperated with top Hollywood directors including Steven Spielberg, The Coen Brothers and Michael Bay.

Engs said that the reason he got the role was due to his "multi-cultural background and acting style, distinguishable from other Hollywood actors."
