Poyang Lake is the largest fresh-water lake in China. Having experienced many geological changes, Poyang Lake is now wide in the south and narrow in the north, like a huge gourd tied on the waist of the Yangtze River. There are many tourist attractions on the picturesque lake, including the 150 species of migratory birds. One can enjoy the natural beauty of the migratory bird reserve as well as sample local flavors by the lake.
