Chaozhou West Lake used to be a branch of the Hanjiang River. The lake is surrounded by green hills on one side and water on the other side. There are pavilions and flowers in the scenic area.

According to the city's construction plan, Chaozhou West Lake has been targeted to be transformed into a garden-style landscape.
