Trends: Make hotel reservations for 2010 Expo on Ctrip

Ctrip.com International Ltd., a consolidator of hotel accommodation and air tickets, announced on November 2 that hotel reservations for the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai are available on ctrip.com or through its hotlines 8008206666 and 4008206666.

According to Tang Xiaofeng, Ctrip.com's executive director of hotel business, over 200 Shanghai hotels ranging from two to five stars provide reservations on ctrip.com. The average prices of Shanghai hotels in May 2010 will be about 200 to 300 yuan for two and three stars, 700 yuan for four stars and 1,600 yuan for five stars.

Moreover, tourists can visit other cities around Shanghai, including Hangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing, and these cities will also see a rise in hotel prices and occupancy during the World Expo.
