Trends: Chinese Character Museum opens Nov. 16

The Chinese Character Museum, the world's only museum themed on Chinese characters, opens to public November 16 in Anyang City, Henan Province. Admission is free.

Altogether, there are 4,123 items on display related to oracle bone inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, thin sticks of bamboo and wood with calligraphy, books made with silk, and the characters of China's minorities, 305 of which are the country's First-Class Relics.

The museum consists of four spaces, including introduction, permanent exhibition, themed exhibition and special exhibition.
